Tours and Tastings can be set at your leisure, 3 to 4 are most popular on the day.
Are children allowed on tour?
Yes, most distilleries will allow children on tour. They of course will need to sit out the tasting.
Are there wheelchair and handicap accessible distilleries?
Some distilleries are well set up for wheelchairs and handicap access. Others are less than ideal. We can support in setting best distilleries for need.
Is it safe to drive or Do you provide transportation?
It is not recommended to drive and yes, our packages will include transportation.
What are the best cities to visit for tours?
Kentucky boasts the greatest offering with 95+% of all bourbon coming from the state. Popular cities to stay include Louisville, Lexington, Frankfort and Bardstown (Kentucky).
Do we need to pack a lunch?
Not necessarily. There can be scheduled stops for meals or we can eat on site at distilleries depending on itinerary.
We have a mixed group with varying interests... to round out our day, what other options are there in addition to bourbon tours?
Depending on city, other great options include: wineries, breweries, horse farms and more.
How much alcohol is served while on tour?
Tastings typically have a great range of offerings for a robust experience, and guests have coaching during the tastings for greater context on each bourbon. By the end of the day, most are well satisfied. For favorites, bottles can be purchased on site and enjoyed throughout day.
